Joni Parker - Sometimes Gross is Good

Hi Shazza,

I'm a newbie...but so glad I found your site. Really different inspiration! Love that!! (I found it through Robin)

So, when I saw this months painting, I immediately thought of pics I had of my son getting a "foot detox". They are pretty gross, so although I really wanted to document this regular event in our house, I just have never been able to scrap them. So, I guess this was the little push I needed. I even tried to work that "gross"-ness into the title. I kept the colors muted, as in the photo. I also used a sketch from The Scrappiest. I tend to scrap very simple but that is probably obvious once you see my layout.

Hi Joni, glad you could join us for this months challenge.......and you have done such a great job!! The muted colors suit the pics. Have you got your son doing his homework? (Funny!) I am one for less is more and tend to scrap very simple myself.....A Gross layout but a Good one!! lol Great work - Shazza
