Well done Amanda, love your green roofed houses. The journaling is great, love the webster pages. Great work - Shazza

Heres a sub from .....

Jennifer Campbell - Reindeer Dust

Jennifer has gone with the winter theme. Great snowman holding a sign post. the kids look like they are having fun! Well done - Shazza

July Gaceta - Y2K

The gazebo at my back is my inspiration. The photo was taken 10 years ago at Botanical Garden Singapore. T'was our first trip outside the country and it was indeed so memorable. - July

Another lovely submission from you July, love all your elements, the stamping and even your journaling in the top R/H corner. Looks great - shazza

Looksee! Looksee! Another piece of ART work from......

Mandy Snow - All you need is Love!

Hey Shazza
Well, I have always wanted to scrap this photo of my family and I finally get the the chance to do it....as you know I love to add a bit of my own art to many of my pages and this is probably the most I have ...the background papers I made myself, very influenced by the work of Shona Cole. I also drew the little house scene...I used my water colour pencils for this part, then I washed over the top of the whole background, not the houses as the water colour pencils run, with gesso...that stuff is fantastic...I have every artistic diva item, these were copied from downloadables on the net, then glued and gessoed over...all in all i am pretty happy with it...yet another great inspirational piece to work from...cheers
Mandy

This is incredible a great take on the challenge and now one of my favourites! Glad you managed all the diva points too. Google is fantastic for those little extras to add to your layouts. love the colors, the pics, everything about this shines!! you must be pleased with the end result. Impressive!! - Shazza

Heres the next one from.....

Melissa O'Neill - Sweet Dreams of Getting our own Home

I hope you like my challenge layout this month, you certainly put the challenge out there but I managed all the criteria and this is now one of my very favourite layouts. Thanks Love Melxxxx

Mel, this would have to be one of my favourites as well! You've done a fabulous job and covered all the criteria as well, its sensational, I love the color scheme, there is so much to look at! well done - shazza

Heres another one from.... sorry! Here's another two from.......

Michelle Winston - Renos

and

Homestead

House Reno's & Homestead are two layouts that take
their inspiration from the homes in the art work,
St Nicholas Circle. House Reno's shows our house
after we took on 6 months of renovations...mind
you, there are still "little things" that aren't
finished ! Homestead is almost the complete
opposite, showing my DH's childhood home way out
west, near Nyngan. It's not much more than a
rustic, run down shell these days. - Michelle

Well done Michelle. Both are great examples of
houses taken from the painting.
Thanks for you
two samples this month. I love the old homestead,
I bet your
hubby could tell some great childhood
stories. Well done - Shazza

Up next is a fantastic sub from.......

Shelee Lark - Home Sweet Home

"Here is a before and after shot of the front of my house. It was a jungle when I bought it and I have now transformed it into a beautiful home. I used a Twiddleybitz large lampost, which I inked and glimmermisted, the little green roofed house is at the bottom of the page and my arrowed signposts are on top of the photos. I enjoyed being challenged by this one!"

I love before and afters, especially when the after is such a dramatic change. A great layout with some beautiful embellies. Well done - shazza

Lets get some inspiration happening here...

Tanya Joseph - The Saints!

hello....
here is my take on the thomas kincaid painting.....

i decided to go with the saints!!! in keeping with the inspiration, i center the superdome-the saints field ....around it i drew in places around the city....i think that it came together nicely .

It certainly did come together nicely, you've put a lot of time into this Tanya. so much to look at, what a great take, i'm impressed!!! Below are a few close ups :) - shazza

Robin Jenkins - Delight

Hi Shazza,
I'm afraid this may be too late to enter--I am not sure of the time difference between the US and Australia. Just in case, here is my entry for the March Art Nouveau challenge. This is one of my favorite pictures of Temple, and I was happy to use it in a LO! I loved the soft colors of the inspiration piece which I tried to incorporate here but those deep colors filtered in anyway!

Best regards,
Robin

Wow! We have an entry from another 'newbie'.......

Sarah Elliott - Two Friends, Two Hearts

Another excuse to do something with one of the Photos from our Betrothal Handfasting. ;O)
Liked the 'frame feel of the inspo pic so I went with an Art Nouveau free clip-art frame I found online... and a
background from the same place.
Really liked the 'circle' on the back ground, again influenced by the inspo pic.
Also tried to mimic the soft color by coloring in marker then spraying all with Glimmer Mist to soften everything out.
Finally for the 'halo of flowers' I actually used a piece from the inspo pic. (circle on the left, inside the bigger circle in the background)
- Sarah

This is just fabulous Sarah, you have really captured the Art Nouveau feel with your entry the frame and background pp give just the right effect. Mucha more than often used women in long flowing robes and this is clearly depicted in your pic. Great take, well done - Shazza

Glad that I managed to squeezed in an entry for March. Love the poster; the colors and all the flowery details.

I scrapped this picture of my daughter, and added a flower halo, plus lots of flowers too! :))
Hope you like it, and hope I am not too late!! Thanks Mazlina

Hi Mazlina! You have really captured the 'Reverie' feel in your entry, I love the cut out flowers on each side of the pic of your daughter, the stamping/rub ons add a really nice touch. It has come together beautifully :) Great work - Shazza

We have another newbie entry today, from.......

Deb Clark - Pearls and Old Lace

Hi Shazza,
I am very new to your site. So this has been rather a challenge - to
interpret this wonderful Art Nouveau postcard...into something I
could do....

This is a wedding photo of me taken 34 years ago....phew......& I kept
feeling like the Madonna every time I looked at what I had done!! But
slowly it came together. Loved the femininity of your postcard & tried
to get that into my page as well.

I have made this an 8 x 8 page & used Bazzill CS, & Websters pages
vellum pp, music pp, Fancypants chippie, KC & craft & Prima flowers, KC
pearls, ribbon, Dew Drop inks, Thickers & Carolee Creations alphas, hand
made crotched doily from a lovely friend, BG stamps.

I will surely return & try again at your challenges. Wonderful
inspirational site. Thank you, Deb Clark
Hi and Welcome, thanks for joining the challenge you've done such a great job.
I think its come together beautifully. What a great cut out of you on your wedding
day. Love the colors you have used, along with those gorgeous soft flowers. A lot of work has gone into this project - Well done - Shazza

Here's another entry from.......

Julene Matthews - Art Nouveau

Hi Shazza, Here's my layout for Artastic.
One of the main features of Art Nouveau was NO STRAIGHT LINES so I went with that idea.I folded some old cardstock in half then drew swirls I then cut this out and traced it on to the cream cardstock.I cut out the old photo placed it on a doiley, surrounded it with flowers, embellishments and here you are....it is different!
Julene Matthews

You really captured the feel of ARt Nouveau feel Julene, your right there were no straight lines......you've done a great job. Who is the cut out pic of? Well done - Shazza!

Robyn Sadler - Concert Diva

Hi Shazza,
Although I had a plan in my head, everytime I walked past the items I had ready my mind picture developed a bit more. I'm quite pleased with this as I have the cut figurine, the halo of flowers (a great little doiley from my2angels, complete with flowers, that I painted with H2O's!) and I've tried for the pastel colours though brights is normally my mode. I based it on the advertising lithos he did with Sarah Bernhardt's name on them. Cheers, Robyn

Here's a beautiful entry from ....

Maria Delo - A Precious Moment

Hi Shazz,
Love this month's painting so thought I would have a go, I had a photoshoot with my daughter last week so used a picture of her and my son Drew for this layout....
I have taken inspiration not only from the gorgeous colours but also from the floral and flourishes that are in the painting, papers are by Bo Bunny my first time using these so they were a pleasure to work with, and with an assortment of flowers from a handmade napkin flower, tiny roses, lavendar and a big Prima bloom and touches of calico strips and a cameo it all just came together....
Thanks Maria

What a beautiful take on this months challenge Maria, just love all your flowers, the Bobunny pp is divine. Great photo shoot of your daughters :) You must be pleased how this turned out, Well done - Shazza
