Deb Clark - One Summer Day

Dear Shaz,
Can I tell you I LOVED working on this very LO!! What a great inspiration from Chris Wake's painting 'Beach'. I have used some adorable pp with a bucket & spade, cutout a few little seagulls & used this wonderful family beach photo, so all the Diva Demand is covered!
I adore this family photo (in fact I believe it is only one of two family photos of us) on the beach at Evans Head, northern NSW in January 1958. The photo isn't the best quality - taken with a Box Brownie - but still what a glorious memory! I am the little one in the front with my sister, 2 brothers & mum & dad. I have such fond & also vivid memories of Evans Head, as there was a little train that ran along the shore....& recently whilst camping there I went to the local museum to track down some photos of that special train. So my memories were really playing with my head, whilst working on this LO I tell you!!
Cheers, Deb xx

Deb! I can tell you loved working on this layout because its turned out a treat. It has just come togeether so well, Love the old box brownie photo and all your added bits and pieces. Your title has turned out just beautiful using the different fonts. Cheers Shazza

  2. I really like all the blue/white combination throughout the whole of the page, works wonderfully well with that old picture. This LO has a special feel to it, I can't exactly put my finger on what it is that appeals to me so much, but there's definitely something! Beautiful work!
