Welcome to our October challenge and our new ART room this month. Do you love the colours, love the shapes, inspired by the domestic scene or like the way items are framed in this room or perhaps have a delight in all things foxy?
How you interpret these arty displays is totally up to you but please let us know what inspired you from our monthly art room – we’d love to hear what jumped out at you!
(in no particular order)
Karen Guy (Australia)
My inspiration were the gorgeous colours and of course Mr Fox, from a recent pottery class!
Karen Brierley - (Australia)
The art room reminded me of an op shop mural we saw on one of our girls' road trips.
I took inspiration from the navy/white background, frames, and bright pops of orange.
Dale Tiernan - (Australia)
I chose a busy navy and white background, used a G45 paper called Anchors Aweigh from the Catch of the Day collection. Then I added orange papers and made a feature with squares.
Sharon Bishop - (Australia)
Jane Howden - (Australia)
Inspired by the colours, theme and frames.Couldn't resist doing this page - it's been waiting quite a while!
Our monthly prize winner is selected by random draw - so anyone could be a winner, you just have to be in it to win it!
We hope you might find time to play along with our challenge this month.
